SETAREH YAZD

Since laying the foundation of Setareh Yazd and the Termeh Adl group, we have strived to raise the status of the termeh fabric. We started from design to packaging, used unconventional fabric weaving techniques, and changed fibers and significantly improved the conventional products in the market. At the same time, we started producing termeh similar to those made in the past with the same application but entirely different fibers and quality. We returned natural silk fibers to fabrics despite knowing the lack of recognition and market demand. We also made fundamental new changes to conventional products in design and weave for one reason: the belief that it is the producer’s essential responsibility to consider people’s tastes and views. To the best of our abilities, we are constantly trying to change the understanding of this historical artifact. After several challenging years, with little recognition of their main identity and in the most difficult economic years following the Islamic Revolution and its vicissitudes, Baft Setareh Yazd has now taken small but necessary steps, institutionalized change and improvement, and will continue along this path to the best of its ability
