About Seth Moulton for Congress

Seth Moulton was elected to Congress in 2014 on a platform of bringing new, bipartisan leadership to Congress. In his first term, Congressman Moulton is focused on economic growth for Massachusetts families and improving veterans’ health care through the VA, where he still receives his care. As congressman, Seth Moulton serves on the House Armed Services Committee and the House Budget Committee. In his first term, he passed two bills into law - the Faster Care for Veterans Act and the Essex River Dredging Act. Born in Salem and raised in Marblehead, Moulton is a native of the North Shore and currently lives in Salem. After graduating from Harvard, Moulton enlisted in the United States Marines Corps, where he was deployed four times to Iraq, including twice to work alongside then-General David Petraeus.
