Setolabo has mainly two project.
Our first business is a service that aims to make preventative health checkups more accessible and help detect diseases early. We currently have hygiene inspection centers in Kagawa and Osaka prefectures, where we offer cancer and infectious disease screening services. To make cancer screening more accessible, we have formed partnerships with various medical institutions. In the future, we hope to establish a system for detecting cancer at a super-early stage using just a drop of blood, allowing people to do the test at home and making cancer screening more accessible to everyone, with the ultimate goal of creating a society where no one dies from cancer.
When the COVID-19 pandemic broke out, I personally worked on COVID-19 treatment at an emergency scene, and we began offering PCR tests in the community earlier than anyone else to reduce severe cases and alleviate the burden on medical institutions. We now have 13 testing centers in JAPAN,where we offer screening tests for the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics, and free tests requested by government agencies.
Our second business is an effort to improve medical literacy and promote preventative medicine. In recent years, we have seen an increase in medical-related advertisements that prioritize corporate profits, which have caused harm to patients who may be misled. In an age where you can find anything on the internet, it is important to be able to choose reliable information. We believe that by acquiring the habit of pausing and questioning whether an article is accurate and developing the ability to judge things correctly, even without extensive medical knowledge, we can improve medical literacy and enable people to make better choices. We have established medical media, which aims to educate people on the importance of choosing reliable information.In the future, we hope to create a platform where medical professionals can share their expertise and provide useful information.
