Founded by Dave Jones in 2007, Sets and Effects is a fast paced, full service design and build studio. Now run in partnership with his wife Ciera, Sets and Effects is thriving and taking on projects from a wide variety of clients encompassing non-profits, entertainment, fashion, corporate, film, theater, and art. From initial concept through fabrication, installation and deinstallation, we are dedicated to crafting unique, high quality designs through involved and enthusiastic collaboration with our clients. We’re proud to have a full service shop that is flexible, versatile, and stocked with the tools and solutions to fabricate just about anything. Our services include CNC routing, laser cutting, finish carpentry, metal fabrication, acrylic fabrication, sculpting, scenic finishes and spray finishes. As the demand for interactive set design grows, S&E has expanded its expertise in integrating LED lighting and Arduino technology into a wide variety of builds. Even with all the fun tools and toys, the greatest asset of Sets and Effects are the people. Dave and Ciera are joined by an intensely dedicated crew of highly skilled, hard working artisans eager to make ideas come to life.
