After 5 years of existence, the GPES, which has existed since 2015, has been replaced by the SEVAM.
The missions of the Association of Madagascar Vanilla Exporters are:

- Convey an image of a professional, ethical and socially responsible organization
- Bring serenity and unity for vanilla exporters
- Promote a free market
- Strengthen constructive dialogue with the various players in the sector, particularly within the CNV
