SEWA Ruaab

Born out of SEWA Bharat, SEWA Ruaab is a life-changing story of several courageous women coming together and taking charge of their lives by empowering themselves financially and socially to live a life with dignity. The women who comprise this cooperative are diverse and each has their own story of transformation with a triumph over poverty. They organised themselves as a producer company in 2009 for the women artisans to redefine & integrate their traditional creativity into contemporary design. Our goal is to connect the tradition & history of Indian handicrafts & culture to the rest of the world by redefining the value of our products. We are reshaping our artisans’ roles within the global supply chain and their role in the home and communities.
