Students' Finance Club, Obafemi Awolowo University is a career focused club with an overall purpose of equipping her members with every skill set needed to thrive in career in finance and business. OUR VISION To be the most preferred student club in the university for finance enthusiast that wants to develop the requisite skills needed to pursue a career in the investment financing sphere. OUR MISSION To provide a platform for students with interest in a career in Investment Finance, to facilitate skill development among interested students of Obafemi Awolowo University and foster career opportunities for its members within the investment finance sphere. OUR FOCUS The club is concerned in training members in the following area of finance: • Corporate Finance: In the area of corporate finance, we take intentional steps in acquainting ourselves with the forms of capital structure that can be adopted by companies and their sources of fund. We also strive to learn the methods of measuring the value of a firm through the use of data and relevant information. • Information Technology: As finance enthusiasts, we have made it an obligation to understand; Software Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering & Cyber-security that can be used to perform finance functions, and at the same time, create reports that are needed for making decisions. • Advisory and Consulting: In this regards, we equip ourselves with the financial analytics that are used by financial analyst to provide advisory services for clients in the areas of regulation, compliance, M&A.
