SFK - Svenska Förbundet för Kvalitet

SFK is a non-profit association focused on quality and business development. SFK is a member of the EOQ – European Organization for Quality. Together, we strengthen Sweden’s competitiveness. SFK’s goal is to be the leading network for competence development and inspiration in quality, improvement work, and business development in Sweden. We offer competence-enhancing and inspiring activities such as courses, conferences, seminars/workshops, study visits, and networking opportunities. Through SFK, you have the opportunity to learn from others and share your own experience. In this way, membership in SFK becomes a valuable asset for all members and benefits the organizations we work for. SFK’s vision is to be the obvious source of knowledge and inspiration for quality and business development. Our mission is to strengthen Sweden’s competitiveness through proactive quality and business development. Our core values are: together, forward, agile, pride, and curiosity. The activities are conducted both centrally and through our regional and sector associations, with networking and activities that address current issues relevant to each region or sector. SFK collaborates internationally with sister organizations EOQ – European Organization for Quality – and ASQ – American Society for Quality. SFK is the organizer of World Quality Day in Sweden. Since 2021, SFK has organized an annual online Spring Conference. Each year, SFK awards a prize for the best thesis or dissertation in quality and business development in memory of Olle Jonson. SFK is a non-profit association founded in 1952, and its name has changed over the years.
