Students' group of Finance Research - SFR

Students' group of Finance Research (SFR) is one of the biggest Student-led Finance clubs in Ho Chi Minh city. Operating under the guidance of the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh city's Student Association and School of Finance, SFR is renowned for its achievements, academic competitions and outstanding members. With nearly 25 years in operation, we have established one of the biggest finance communities in Vietnam. SFR currently owns a Board of Management of 13 people, from President, Vice President to Heads and Vice-Head of each department. SFR's current system includes 2 core functions: Operational and Academic, leading by Operational Vice President and Academic Vice President, each has distinctive departments: ++ Specialized function: Applied Finance (CFA Program Oriented), Analysing Market and Investments, Quantitative Research ++ Operational function: External Relations, Event, Communications, and Human Resources Key achievements include: - The best organization at UEH 2014, 2018, 2022; - First, Second, Third, and Consolidation prizes - Econometrics Olympics - - Championship titles at: + CFA Institute Research Challenge (Organizer: CFA Institute) + RMIT Vietnam Research Challenge (Organizer: RMIT Finance Club - RMIT) + Financial Students Competition (Organizer: SeSC – FTU2) + UFM Investors (Organizer: Investors Club – UFM) + Investment Competition (Organizer: NSC Club - Ton Duc Thang University) + FBAC (Organizer: Banking University Finance Club – HUB) + FESE Virtual Trading Exchange of University of Economics and Law - Other participations at multiple competitions and research challenges nationally and internationally.
