The Société Française de Rétine (formerly the Société Française de Photocoagulation) was founded in 1976 and has been meeting annually ever since, with a large, dynamic and active attendance.
The importance of participating in a "Société Savante", focused on fundus pathology and the use of lasers alongside all other medical and surgical therapeutic methods, is particularly emphasized at a time when new clinical and therapeutic acquisitions are at the forefront of the news.
SFRétine's aim is to maintain a very broad scope of activities, and to encourage the presentation of papers on all imaging and fundus exploration procedures, as well as clinical cases of interest in terms of iconography, diagnosis and treatment, and progress.
Meetings are generally held at the end of January and in May
