SFU Sociology and Anthropology Student Union (SASU)

SASU is the Sociology and Anthropology Student Union of Simon Fraser University. As a student union, we are committed to representing the interests of SA students, voicing their concerns, supporting them, and fostering an inclusive and safe space for our SA community. Beyond representing students we are also passionate about social activism—supporting diversity, the LGBTQ+ community, Land Back and Indigenous sovereignty campaigns, anti-racist practices, as well as Indigenization, decolonization, and reconciliation within social structures. More than a body of students, we are activists, writers, dancers, and artists; wonderfully diverse people and friends. If you are a student enrolled in any SA courses or are a declared major/minor/honours student, you are automatically eligible to be a member of SASU.
