SGVC - The essential professional association:
Process and chemical engineers are needed in almost every industry: naturally in the chemical, pharmaceutical and plastics industry, but also in the food and cement industry, apparatus engineering, medical technology, environmental protection, biotechnology, energy and building services engineering. With their wide-ranging, broad education and training, they are for example essential for transferring new laboratory procedures into industrial production.
Founded in 1965, the association now has over 300 individual and 50 group/company members. It represents the interests of its members and their discipline in the Swiss Academy of Engineering Sciences (Schweizerische Akademie der Technischen Wissenschaften, SATW) and has national and international links.
