The aims of I-RESPS (Increasing Resource Efficiency in the Shading Product Sector) are to accelerate development of a sectoral Circular Economy, to reduce waste from the textile and shading products industries, and to help residents reduce thermal loss/gain in winter/summer through use of shading products.
The project uses whole-system-thinking and engages actors from all life-cycle stages involving local and national, large and SME, sole trader textile and product designers, manufacturers, and recyclers as well as local members of the public.
Representatives of all groups will participate in activities facilitated by LSBU to share knowledge and address challenges encountered during production, use, and end-of-life stages encouraging at the same time the design of more circular products.
