Shadow Room

The association promotes research, artistic work, events and other activities in the fields of art, aesthetics, music and other cultural fields, whose medium is the aesthetics of darkness or the study of alternative aesthetics and its methods and conventions. The purpose of the association is to support its members' artistic work, research, performances and networking opportunities in Finland and abroad. The aim of the association is to act as a network for the benefit of its members by bringing together experts, specialists and actors from different fields. Shadow Room Ry's basic unit of artistic work is the project, which must operate with its own budget and within the framework that has been jointly agreed for the project. A project can be started once the project plan has been approved by the Board of Directors. Once the project is completed, the project creator is obliged to complete the project budget and any other necessary and mutually agreed items, such as documentation or other necessary studies.
