Shakespeare Surgery is an award winning GP Surgery. We offer GP services to around 2700 residents of south Wigan from a modern, purpose built LIFT building.
We employ 3 GP's (2 WTE), 1 practice nurse, 1 practice manager and 4 reception staff. Based in the building are the full range of primary care team staff including district nurses, Health Visitors, School Nurses, Physio's, Counsellors and Health Trainers.
As a practice we are a GP STR Training practice and so currently also have 2 GP registrars based with us. We also offer education and teaching slots to medical students based at Manchester Medical School.
