Shanghai SECCO Petrochemical Company Limited was founded by China Petroleum and Chemical Corporation (Sinopec Corp.), Shanghai Petrochemical Company Limited (SPC) and BP East China Investment Company Limited with an investment of about $ 2.7 billion in a 30%, 20%, 50% proportion. It is by far one of the largest petrochemical projects of joint venture in China . The 900 ktpa ethylene plant is by far one of the one-piece facilities that have the highest production capacity in the world.
