Shanle Psychological Services (SPS) was founded in 2016. It is a private, community-based service agency, specializing in , Substance Abuse , Mental Health and Sex Offender Treatment. SPS’s commitment to community centered services is reflected in it’s mission statement:
“To improve the quality of life throughout the life cycle by strengthening individuals, families and communities, by alleviating human suffering, and by advocating policies and services which promote human dignity and self sufficiency.”
SPS services include: mental health services, substance abuse treatment and community outreach and prevention services, sexual offender treatment. This is comprised of 4 outpatient clinical programs and SO after care support groups out of 5 offices in 7 counties of Eastern Michigan.
Using individual and group treatment modalities, these programs seek to:
Increase individual or collective knowledge of human functioning and relationships. Enhance or rehabilitate the psychosocial functioning of children, individuals, and families. Direct and support clients in pursuit of information and resources that result in an improved quality of life.
