Founded in 2017 by Su Turner, a governance expert and former National Leader of Governance, Shaping Governance was created to address the challenges governors, trustees, and non-executives face. Grounded in Su’s extensive experience as a governor and from her work at a national good governance charity, the organisation has evolved from a standalone evaluation tool into a leading provider of governance improvement services. Our mission is rooted in empowering these leaders to excel in their roles and make a lasting impact on the children, communities, and organisations they serve. Our flagship program, Shaping Governance® Improvement, breaks down barriers to effective governance by equipping governors with the skills and confidence to excel.
