Born in 2025 from the hearts of dedicated student leaders at Stellenbosch University, ShareBite grew out of the beloved FOODBYFRANNIDEE initiative. We started with a simple yet powerful idea: that sharing a meal is one of the most fundamental ways we care for one another. What began as students helping students has blossomed into a movement that brings warmth, nourishment, and hope to our university community. Working hand-in-hand with generous sponsors, thoughtful donors, and volunteers who genuinely care, we're building something beautiful—a network where no student goes hungry and no good food goes to waste. We're not just providing meals; we're creating moments of connection, comfort, and the feeling of being truly cared for, even when far from home.
