The Sharif AI & Bioinformatics Lab is a multidisciplinary research group at Sharif University of Technology, directed by Dr. Ali Sharifi-Zarchi. We explore the intersection of artificial intelligence, bioinformatics, and computational biology, with a strong focus on real-world biomedical applications.
Our research spans a diverse set of areas, including single-cell analysis, diffusion models, natural language processing (NLP), medical and biological image processing, and applied machine learning. We develop and apply state-of-the-art AI techniques to advance understanding in genomics, cellular systems, and biomedical data science.
