Sharing Smile

Sharing Smile is a digital-based social enterprise that provides market access for local farmers, enabling them to sell imperfect produce at discounted prices to young people and mid to low-income households in Australia. Additionally, it provides a platform for food donations and facilitating the distribution of these donations to those in need. Through this endeavor, our goal is to combat food waste and insecurity while empowering underserved Australian communities. Sharing Smile was first established in December 2022 by four students in Sydney, and only focused on donations to people in need around Sydney CBD with a sincere goal - "changing the world through sharing our smiles and making others smile too". Then, in Jan 2024, we aim to expand our scope and impact to the next level. Currently, we are in ideation and market validation stages. Moreover, we are participating in several pitching competitions with the objectives to get some seed funding/grants/investment, as well as to get mentorship and networking.
