I have over 3 years experience in the Recruitment industry, half of which was purely focused on preparing candidates' CVs to be sent to clients. I've seen every mistake that it's possible to imagine in a CV, and know how to tweak the style, structure and content to suit a specific role. I started Sharp CV as a part time venture because friends and family were constantly asking me to look at their CVs, so I decided to offer others the same help since it seems to be something a lot of people struggle with. The most common mistakes include writing far too much and giving superfluous information, writing far too little, coming across as boastful and overselling, or even underselling and being too modest. I often see grammatical mistakes that spellcheck doesn't pick up on, as well as unforgivable spelling mistakes that it does.
