With great pleasure, the SHATIS Organizing Committee invites delegates from around the world to join us for the 7th edition of International Conference on Structural Health Assessment of Timber Structures (SHATIS’25) in Zagreb, Croatia from 3rd to 6th September 2025.
The conference is known for its passion for timber shared by an international group of researchers, professional engineers, practitioners, but also architects, conservators and restorers. Wide spectrum of themes concerning assessment, repair and monitoring of historic and new timber structures enable unique insight into new and modern practices and innovations in the field.
Professor’s Hrvoje Turkulin and Vlatka Rajčić are the Chair organizers of SHATIS 2025 both leading scientist in the field of Wood in construction. Professor Hrvoje Turkulin is full professor at the Faculty of Forestry and Wood Technology, and professor Vlatka Rajčić is full professor at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Zagreb, Croatia.
University of Zagreb, Faculty of Forestry and Wood Technology and Faculty of Civil Engineering, along with the support of the Studio ARHING d.o.o., has the pleasure of hosting the SHATIS 2025. They are also supported by the Ministry of Culture and Media of the Republic of Croatia, the ICOMOS Croatia, Croatian Chamber of Forestry and Wood Technology Engineers, Croatian Chamber of Civil Engineers and Croatian Chamber of Architects.
After last SHATIS held in Prague, we are happy to invite all people who live structural timber engineering and are eager to share experiences and ideas So, come, share and discuss timber with colleagues and friends.
