SHAWCO Education

SHAWCO Education is a youth development organisation that aims to facilitate holistic learning in areas in numerous under-resourced communities in Cape Town. SHAWCO Education is apart of the larger non-profit organisation, Students Health and Welfare Centres Organisation (SHAWCO), based at the University of Cape Town. The Education sector operates as a society through UCT, through providing academic support and activities that provide or enhance learning. This is assisted by facilitation done by UCT volunteers that engage with participants enrolled in the programs offered to them.
