She Banks developed and launched a personal finance app for women to help them improve their financial and economic outcomes. Drawing on extensive research about women's financial literacy and their use and understanding of core personal finance principles, the app focused on improving financial literacy, removing barriers to saving and investing and providing easy to use budgeting and financial management tools targeting women. The app rewarded women for increasing savings and investing with consumer goods and services that address their day to day household management needs like meal and grocery deliveries, household cleaning services, childcare services and self care rewards like spa days and mini vacations. The company completed a successful seed raise in March 2023, however, with the steep rise in interest rates, the collapse of Silicon Valley bank and a sharp drop off in fintech funding in mid 2023, the company could not see a clear path to a successful series A by the end of 2023. It closed in June 2023.
