Sheffield Mind Ltd has been providing mental health care and support to people in the city for over 40 years.
We won’t give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets both support and respect. We want to see parity of care for people with mental and physical illness and to de-stigmatise mental health conditions so people are not discriminated against.
Our mission is to intervene early to improve wellbeing and provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. We work locally with our partners to improve services and increase awareness and accessibility.
We are a creative and forward thinking organisation and we have been working hard to reach people in communities which have traditionally failed to engage with services, but in which there are higher than average incidences of mental ill health. We have built new and exciting partnerships so we can promote greater awareness and understanding of mental health to different sectors and we look forward to developing these relationships and to working in shared projects and initiatives.
