SMC Bikes was founded by Owner Frank Hayes in May 2006 when he set up the branch as a director of CMC, with its officially launched on the 1st of June 2006 as the premier exclusive Yamaha dealer Since our launch we’ve become established as one of the most popular & friendly motorcycling venues in the South Yorkshire / Derbyshire area and one of the leading destination places for our customer and friends Our aim was to establish ourselves in Sheffield (the home town of the Owner Frank Hayes) so in June 2008, we to move to new premises when Tesco bought the land and leases of our previous location. It was then we decided to cement our commitment to the future of bikes in Sheffield by purchasing a permanent home for SMC and our fellow biking enthusiasts. This was a massive investment, in time, effort and finance, but we didn’t stop there, we introduced the brands of Ducati & KTM franchises to add to our existing Yamaha dealership! We also added the best brands of clothing and helmets available on the market today. All this added to our one stop shop for all things Motorcycling, including, service, MOT's repairs, paintwork accessories and our very own Jan's corner cafe, well know for her bacon butties....
