Shekudo is a shoes and accessories brand founded in Sydney Australia. Originally a women’s clothing brand, the brand relaunched into footwear and accessories and moved its production base to Lagos, Nigeria under the creative direction of Akudo Iheakanwa.
The brands continues to shed light on the local artisan and craftsmanship scene whilst integrating some of the age old techniques and overlooked local resources into its own contemporary aesthetic. Shekudo works hard to make sure that the majority of its raw materials can be found or produced locally and prides itself on being a socially responsible label.
