Shelborne Development Company is a women-owned, mission-driven company that drives inclusive neighborhood revitalization through rehabilitation of historic property, development of quality affordable housing, and strong economic development programming. We have decades of experience rehabilitating historic properties in metro Detroit, and are widely recognized for our quality workmanship - receiving multiple highly-competitive local and national awards for our work. Our company is also dedicated to preserving inclusivity in metro Detroit by leveraging Low Income Housing Tax Credits to develop affordable housing in neighborhoods across the area. To date we have rehabilitated 22 multifamily affordable housing buildings and over 1,300 affordable housing units in Michigan.
