She Learns Here

She Learns Here initiative for skills empowerment is a non-profit organisation that teaches and supports women and girls in Nigeria with digital skills and technology to improve their lives and businesses. It was founded on May 22, 2017, to share valuable tips and insights on digital marketing, the use of mobile apps, technology, and funding opportunities for women in business. Our vision is to get more women in tech and get more women using tech. In 2019, She Learns Here, was registered as a non-profit with a board of trustees who have over 50 years of combined experience in women empowerment and NGO management, training and coaching, media, sales, and marketing. We operate through 4 major strategic programs 1. GIDT: Girls In Digital Technology This is a cohort-based training program where women are trained to break into the technology industry through digital marketing skills. 2. BDSW: Business and digital skills workshops These are virtual and physical training workshops where women learn timely, and relevant digital skills to improve their lives and businesses. 3. C4L: Collaborations for Learning We collaborate with other non-profits, social enterprises, corporate organizations, and sponsors to facilitate learning programs using our unique content and the UNIDO HP LIFE blended training program for women in their communities. 4. DSA: Digital Skills Accelerator This is a cohort-based, 6 module program where women in business are taught business and IT skills using the UNIDO/ HP-LIFE entrepreneurship training program modules.
