Full-Time English Teachers needed at Shengda College, Zhengzhou, Henan – the Cradle of Chinese Civilization Shengda Economics Trade and Management College of Zhengzhou University is looking for full-time English Teachers starting August 2009. Shengda College is located 25 minutes south of Zhengzhou, the capital of Henan Province. Located south of the Yellow River, Henan is traditionally considered to be the cradle of Chinese civilization and offers an affordable cost of living and an authentic Chinese experience. From Zhengzhou, you can easily visit the three of the seven ancient capitals of China: Luoyang - home to the Longman Grottoes and White Horse Temple, Kaifeng - with its famous night market and Anyang - site of the Yinxu Museum and Tianning Temple. Also within close range is Shaolin Temple, legendary for Shaolin Kung fu, on Mount Song, one of the famous Sacred Mountains of China. We have two contract options available: one-year contracts (from August to July or February to January) and 6-month contracts (from August to January or February to July). Courses taught include Oral English, English Writing and Culture through Film. Class sizes vary from 30 or fewer students for Oral classes, and 60 or fewer students for Writing and Film classes.
