Shengo Global, as an African think-tank institution witnesses unconstitutional acts, unresolved conflicts and a rule of law at a question mark in most parts of Africa. To state these issues in an innovative way Shengo Global anchors peace, democracy and good governance. ሸንጎ (Shengo) is an Amharic term for council. In the past times and in some cases until present, the way our forefathers use to discuss and solve conflicts of different intensity levels which rise from the society through such traditional mediation platforms inspired and influenced us to name our institution after it. Shengo Global design the Shengo panel with a vision to celebrate and share impacts. The program will bring policy practical impacts on frame areas through researches, briefings, dialogues, discussions, debates, exhibitions, project implementations and incubations. Slogan- Impact matters Therefore the scope of the Shengo Global focus on Seven thematic areas: Peace, Peace & security, Governance, Diplomacy, Environment, Trade, and Law. The program promotes eco-friendliness, good governance, positive peace, global impact and the rule of law. Shengo Global believes democratic and governance challenges in Africa must be faced with a balanced view of both African approach as well as global outlooks. The 21th century demands collaboration, cohesion and integration of holistic techniques. Shengo global mediums promote dialogues that celebrate African democracy which has its own African characteristics to bring peace and prosperity to the continent.
