This lab has been established by Dr. Karim Alizad to investigate climate change and sea-level rise effects on water bodies including coasts, lakes, oceans, bays, and other water resources. SHENS lab's main focus is to increase the resiliency of ecological and environmental systems and sustainable infrastructures incorporating natural and nature-based features. This lab is located at the Civil Engineering Faculty of K.N. Toosi University of Technology and is incorporating ecological and hydrodynamic/hydraulic models such as Hydro-MEM to inform decision-makers about anthropogenic and natural effects on communities.
