Shimon Peres Hi-Tech & Arts School (formerly known as Shevach Moffet) 🎓🏫🚀💻🎨 התיכון להייטק ולאמנויות ע"ש שמעון פרס (שבח מופת לשעבר) Our fine educational institution found its early origin on 7 HaMasger Street, Tel Aviv in 1942 as a vocational training school in the carpentry, machining and electrical trades. It was known as "Shevach" in honor of a British WW2 pilot. The school later became an academic high school and since the 1990s, was recognized as "Shevach Moffet". Moffet is an acronym containing the hebrew words "mathematics and physics", but also means excellence. In 2019, we relocated to 8 Mordekhay Bentov Street, Tel Aviv, and were renamed to honor the esteemed 9th President and 8th Prime Minister of Israel, Shimon Peres. 🏅 We offer comprehensive education from Junior High through High School and College, providing up to 8 years of high-quality education.
