We began this journey to help produce personal protective gear for our medical professionals in dire need of equipment to help keep them safe. One morning watching our young ones sleep we thought how scary it would be if we had to take one of them for treatment during these uncertain times. That thought quickly shifted to how scary the experience would be from their perspectives.
An already scary experience for a child compounded by the realities of medical professionals in full protective gear and not being able to see the kindness in their faces. So the idea was born to print fun characters on the shields to help ease their little hearts and help put smiles on their faces.
What we learned in this process is it's not just kids that need a little reassurance, right now everyone can use a smile. The patients, the medial staff, the essential personnel working in public and you! We all need something to help us feel comfortable and give us a reason to smile and laugh.
