Shields Healthcare Services (Shields HS) was established in 2010 out of a desire to build healthier communities through efficient quality patient care. In the decade since its existence, Shields HS has made great strides in reaching the company's goal of reducing the incidence of hospital readmissions. Ninety-five percent (95%) of the organization's patients have successfully recovered in the comfort of their homes without requiring in-patient hospital care. We are committed to providing compassionate care that promotes the well-being of our patients, their families, and the community. We pride ourselves in educating and teaching our patients about various disease processes and comorbidities so they can thrive, function, and achieve optimum levels of health in the comfort of their homes.
