We are a team of undergrad engineering students trying to solve some complex problems lingering in the cooling sector in the most elegant ways possible. We are building body cooling jackets, you can say that it has an air conditioner inbuilt in it which keeps the person cool outside in the hot weather. This product will be particularly useful for heat-exposed working professionals who have to deal with high temperatures during their work like the construction industry, plant workers, mining, policemen, soldiers, farmers, etc. It is also eco-friendly as it runs only on water and consumes very little electricity and also does not heat back the surroundings like air conditioners. The jacket runs on water and batteries and the jacket can work for about 8-9 hours in a single charge. The water can go for 3 hours before refill and will take 10-15 seconds for an easy refill without taking off the jacket. The jacket will give the best cooling in the period of hot and dry summers (nearly 3 months), it can cool up to 20°C – 25°C.
