In 2021, over 17,000 children were seen by The Heart Center team at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. For parents and families, it’s a whirlwind of doctors, tests, results, and nexts steps. Throughout it all, the amazing team of nurses is a constant companion, an advocate for the child, and a shoulder to lean on for the parent.
Through scholarships and continuing education for nurses, The Lillian Lee Snyder Shine Bright Foundation was created to ensure that every child receives exceptional care during their stay at The Heart Center at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
The Shine Bright Foundation is a 501(c)(3) whose proceeds are donated to an endowment fund that is managed by Nationwide Children’s Hospital Foundation to support The Heart Center, ensuring every dollar has the greatest impact.
