Founded in 1948 by Mr. Ram Pal Arora, immediately after the partition, Shivdas Books was born out of a passion to spread learning and education. Driven by his deep commitment to knowledge, Mr. Arora established his own publishing house with the goal of providing quality educational resources. With over 70 years of experience in the industry, Shivdas Books has become a household name for exam preparation materials, trusted by generations of students. The company is currently led by Mr. Ajay Arora, an esteemed alumnus of Sri Ram College of Commerce, New Delhi. Under his leadership, the brand has expanded its offerings, catering to a wide range of educational needs, including CBSE K12, Delhi University, CUET, JEE, and NEET aspirants. As the third generation steps into the business, Mr. Shiva Arora, after completing his MSc in Entrepreneurship at the University of Nottingham, continues the legacy. He brings a fresh perspective with a focus on lean expansion and leveraging technology and AI to enhance the company’s operations.
