Shiyo is currently working on product that lets merchants accept cards payments using their smartphones. According to Moody’s Investors service analysis 1% increase in card usage boosts GDP of developing countries by 0.02%. Currently there are only 60,000 POS machines deployed by banks throughout Bangladesh which process a monthly average transaction of $190 million of 25 million card holders. Shiyo aims to empower every merchant with the ability to accept card payment directly into their bank accounts or MFS account at minimum to no fees. Shiyo is not a company it’s a mission to revolutionize payment industry in Bangladesh.
