SHM Architects is a boutique design studio founded in 2005 in Dallas, Texas.
Principals David Stocker, Mark Hoesterey, Enrique Montenegro, and Nicholas McWhirter have assembled a gifted team focused on generating thoughtful architecture and interiors that are simultaneously logical and beautiful.
Our process is rooted in an obsession with the craft, and results in personalized, luxurious designs that are always aspirational. We are passionate lifestyle curators who firmly believe time and heartfelt principles lead to beautiful, bespoke solutions. This philosophy has inspired a body of widely published and award-winning work in a variety of styles, in locations across North America.
In 2019, SHM launched its first satellite studio in Crested Butte, Colorado, reflecting a sustained commitment to servicing clients across the Mountain West region. In 2024, SHM partnered with Cowart Group PC to form the SHM Cowart Studio in Savannnah, Georgia.
We balance our passion for design with a humble approach toward our clients, a cherished family atmosphere in the office, and a heart for service in our community.
