ShobThik is an initiative that aims to provide cost-efficient mental health solutions and make therapy accessible to everyone in the country in a quick and uncomplicated manner. We aim to remove as many barriers as possible from mental health solutions, be it distance, cost, or ease-of-use. Our services currently include Vent, a platform where one can speak to trained volunteers about their day, as well as conventional therapy from the therapists enlisted with our website. Our mission is to ensure that anyone who feels like they require help, be it in the form of therapy or just someone to talk to, are able to get the help they need. We aim to connect those who seek therapy with the therapists in just a few clicks. Our ultimate vision is to create an ecosystem of mental health solutions where those that need help can get it effortlessly, regardless of their location and socio-economic condition. We seek to bring equity among the citizens of this nation in terms of mental health, so that anyone from any social strata can avail therapy and other mental health solutions without having to resort to extreme means.
