Shooting Gallery was co-founded by Elliott Bledsoe and Tom Everingham in 2011. The idea was simple: to do the gallery thing differently. It is a visual arts venue in the back room of a small converted factory in Spring Hill in Brisbane. It exhibits works regardless of an artist’s status or their preference of medium, style or technique. It hosts anything arts-related, not just exhibitions. It investigates new approaches to displaying and exhibiting creativity. And it wants to test new models of risk management and financial sustainability for creative practitioners. Creativity is random. So are we.
