Shoots Bakery & Bowls

In 2021, friends and University of Miami students, Christopher Carson and Dylan Wacksman, teamed up to introduce a one-of-a-kind experience to their local South Miami community. Together, using their passion for food and love for exploring new cultures, the two created Shoots Bakery and Bowls. Inspired by co-founder Dylan Wacksman’s experience growing up in Honolulu, Shoots (meaning, “okay; of course” in Pidgin English) aims to provide a sense of calm and relaxation to the lives of its customers. Specializing in local Hawaiian comfort foods, our menu delivers outstanding renditions of popular dishes such as Poke, Malasadas, Onigiri, and Butter Mochi – often incorporating local South Florida flavors.
