Shopow is an innovative start-up which merges the online social space with a market leading shopping comparison engine. We work directly with over 22,000 of the internet’s leading retailers in the UK and this allows us to offer one of the most complete and accurate price comparison services on the web. The Shopow service is currently available in the UK and the USA, with further internationalisation in the company timeline. The depth of our retailer offering and our innovative features combine in order to allow us to offer the most value adding shopping comparison service on the internet. Shopow features a dedicated online shopping community which allows its users to make more informed choices. All of our core services have been personalised, meaning that peer-to-peer relationships are prioritised above anonymous posts. Users share deals, reviews, content and purchases with their friends and are kept up to date with their favourite retailers news via our retailer following model. Shopow was founded in January 2010 by Mike Harty and Kevin Flood. Following significant investment and over a year of development (conceptualisation and development began in Nov 2009), Shopow came to market for beta testing in December 2010.
