Short Construction Ltd was formed at the beginning of 2010 with a view of becoming the area’s leading quality housebuilder. The bulk of our work is residential, however we do carry out a number of commercial projects which include schemes in the following sectors: Care homes including a framework agreement for Barchester, repeat contracts for Kids Planet - kids nursery provider, retail spaces, warehouses, office buildings, restaurants and leisure facilities and these have ranged in value from £700k to over £5m. Primarily though we are known for our residential expertise and in this sector our core projects tend to be bespoke one – off new build houses, complete re-model / refurbishment projects or small multiple unit sites, generally upto a maximum of 20 properties and these can all range in value between £750k - £6m. Around 50% of our order book is currently for developers and we have forged very close relationships with a number of businesses over the last 3 - 4 years. Our other work is for individual private clients / homeowners and these projects come from Design Consultants and Quantity Surveyors who we work with on a repeat basis.
