Seismic Hazard and Risk Investigations is created with an aim to develop a cost-effective, efficient, and reliable earthquake early warning system. The company is established in Sept 2020 as STARTUP and is working on the advancement of EEW systems and the development of seismic switches with better specifications at a very low cost, which will lead to saving Foreign exchange and generating employment. These types of developments are urgently required to cover highly seismic areas for risk reduction with the help of IIT Roorkee. For the completion of this aim, the company is also working on the development of low-cost sensors as well and developing advanced algorithms for detection and size estimation of the earthquake.
