Shusai - Security

Introduction: Shusai is an Australian Indigenous owned security risk management company. We have over forty-five years’ experience working closely with Australia’s largest construction and engineering contractors. During this time, we have pioneered a unique position within the risk management industry with a proven reputation in securing complex and demanding projects. Shusai is also an Indigenous certified company. Shusai undertakes important work for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community, without any government support. In particular, Shusai offers Security, Traffic Control to school leavers, and pays the salary and training of those workers up until they find an Apprenticeship in the area of their liking. Shusai will also help with the Aboriginal Procurement Policy (A.P.P) Our director Tim Reilly is a work councillor for our Indigenous workers. Tim is also a Darug & Dunghutti person Shusai Security team are trained in: • Security • Risk Reporting • First Aid OFA • Building Construction, 90% of our employees are tradesmen that have previous experience on construction sites Our Security team has an eight to fifteen staff. Traffic team are trained in: • Traffic Control • First Aid OFA Our Traffic Control has an eight-man team, that we train young Indigenous youths to proceed into the construction industry. This training continues to the end of the project and hopefully we can find them all apprenticeships. We work closely with the local Indigenous in the area to create employment.
