Shuttle Buses

We are one of the largest employers in the local area with a workforce of over 60 employees. Established in 1990 with the aim of providing reliable, high-quality bus and coach services throughout Ayrshire, we have since then grown to a fleet of over 50 vehicles. Our well-trained and motivated drivers are all vetted through Disclosure Scotland and cleared to work with both young and vulnerable people. We operate many local services within Ayrshire, some are operated commercially and some are subsidised by Strathclyde Partnership for Transport. We also operate seven MyBus services for elderly and disabled people, as well as those without a local bus service, throughout Ayrshire and Renfrewshire. As well as local bus services we also offer private coach hire through our subsidiary Shuttle Coaches. We can provide many different sizes and types of buses and coaches for hire, ranging from 16 to 70 seaters. All coaches are fitted with seat-belts and we can provide additional facilities such as toilets, air-conditioning and wheelchair access on certain vehicles within our fleet. A large number of our service buses are built in Britain by Optare; our quality coaches are mainly Volvo and Mercedes models. Reliability is further enhanced by our own fully-equipped workshop where we carry out all our own maintenance.
