Launched in 2015, Shuttlecock Music Magazine is dedicated to featuring in-depth coverage of new and exciting music emerging from Kansas City and the surrounding areas. The website features concert reviews, photo galleries, interviews, streams of new releases, videos, the flagship Shuttlecock Podcast, and the album discussion podcast In My Headache co-hosted by Bill Brownlee.
Shuttlecock has also released four photo zines and hosted dozens of all ages DIY shows in Kansas City.
Shuttlecock launched its free print magazine in 2021. Each issue features a cover story on a local artist, the My Favorite Merch column, a rising artist Q&A, Soda Selector, and more. The book is 24 pages and black & white with a current circulation of 500.
